Our blog content will include information about dental procedures, dental care tips, and news about trends that may affect your care. We’re kicking off our new blog, though, by highlighting some of the ways we ensure your treatments are always convenient and comfortable.
Same-Day Dental Restorations Are So Convenient
It can take several days, or even longer, to get a dental crown at many dental practices. That’s because most dentists outsource the creation of your crown to an outside dental lab. We’ve invested in a CEREC (CEramic REConstruction) system that enables us to manufacture your crown in our office. In most cases, the entire process takes less than an hour. And you won’t need to wear a temporary. If any adjustments in fit are required, we’ll make them right away; no communication with a lab is required.
Same-day crowns help us improve your care in other ways. For example, you can get a complete root canal procedure in a single visit. No need to return to our office later for a crown to cover your repaired tooth.
Technology Keeps Your Procedures Pain-Free
We use lots of other high-tech tools to keep you comfortable in our chair. They include:
- 3-D Digital X-rays – Because they reveal your entire mouth, including the bone and nerves that surround your teeth, this equipment is invaluable for planning many dental procedures.
- VersaWave Laser – Our patients love this tool! That’s because it allows us to repair cavities with no drilling. Many patients don’t even require local anesthesia.
- Intraoral Cameras – These handheld cameras make it easy for us to examine your mouth during exams with a lot less poking and prodding.
